Middletown is fortunate to have two (2) outdoor swimming pools for your enjoyment: Sproat Street Pool at Sproat Street Park and Maple Hill Pool at Maple Hill Park. All pools will be open on Monday, June 25, 2012 and are scheduled to close Sunday, August 26, 2012. All pools are open to the public seven (7) days a week from 12:00pm — 6:00pm. Fees are $1.00 for children 16 and under and $3.00 for adults.
"Free Swims" are offered at Sproat Street Pool on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am starting on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Free Swim at Maple Hill Pool will begin on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
Lessons are offered at Middletown High School Pool from Monday, July 9, 2012 to Tuesday, August 10, 2012. Commencing on July 9, 2012, the following classes are being offered on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays:

INTERMEDIATES (stroke development)
9:00am - 9:50am
SWIMMERS (skill proficiency)
9:00am - 9:50am
$20.00 registration fee for Middletown residents
$30.00 registration fee for non-Middletown residents
MIDDLETOWN RECREATION SWIM TEAM
The Middletown Recreation Swim Team is a year-round competitive swimming program for athletes ages 5 and older designed to teach and train athletes in the sport. Swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. MRST practices at Maple Hill Pool in the summer and during the school year the team utilizes the Middletown High School Pool. The team has all levels ranging from novice to national swimmers. Tryouts are available, for more information call 845-344-8480.
