Recreation Program Documents
Recreation and Parks Department works year round to provide a wide range of safe and accessible recreational facilities and leisure time programs for participants of all ages. Whatever your interest may be, you can always find an activity or a special event to enhance your quality of life. Year round programs include: Basketball, Cheerleading, Community Center Programs, Fitness, Pre-School program, Teen Programs, Tennis.

The City of Middletown has thirteen parks available that can accommodate baseball, basketball, bicycling, cooking, fishing, football, horse shows, outdoor concerts, ice skating, jogging, picnics, playground activities, soccer, swimming, tennis, walking or just relaxing with the family or friends.Reservations for park facilities can be made by calling our office at least thirty days in advance. Reservations for the picnic pavilions in Fancher-Davidge, Ben & Paula Amchir Park, & Maple Hill are accepted beginning in January to reserve for dates of May 15th through Oct 15th of each year. A small fee is required. Revocable Permits are also issued for other requested use of City park property. Our Professional Staff look forward to serving you.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Fancher-Davidge Park's Lion's Shelter area on Saturday, April 4, 2015 for ages 10 and under. Bring your child out and let them have fun hunting for eggs and prizes!
Sign up NOW for the Middletown Recreation & Parks Spring Break Program. From Monday, March 30, 2014 - Friday, April 3, 2014 there will be a daily program at the Middletown High School from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Children must be 6 years of age to 13 years of age to participate. Activities will include but not be limited to swimming, basketball, floor hockey, soccer, cheerleading and Arts & Crafts. Cost is $70.00 for the week per child. See attached form or contact 845-346-4180 for further information.

The Middletown Recreation Pre-School is now accepting applications for the 2014 - 2015 school year. The 3 year old program attends class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am - 11:30am or 12:30pm - 3:00pm. The 4 year old program attends classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am - 11:30am or 12:30pm - 3:00pm. See attached applications or call 845-346-4149 for more information.
